I watched the Marc Jacobs series of this programme in library today. It actually helps me get to know more about MJ. There are loads of interviews of MJ and some fashion industry insiders, who commented beautifully on MJ's collections.
There are a few points to be noted:
1) MJ LOVES ACROMATIC COLOR SCHEME (he actually admitted it! LOVELY! he said it in a 1990's interview when he first rose to be a new star in the industry)
2) MJ LOVES POLKA DOTS (he made use of monoacromatic color scheme and extended some of his creativity on polka dots too!)
3) MJ mentioned that influences was NOT important in his collection. He was inspired by the happenings around HIM and HIS LIFE for most of the time.
