THEME: 30's & 70's LADIES

To match with the theme, Marc Jacobs used different elements:

MUSIC...
Again, he used a MINIMALIST song with a harmonic feeling to bring out the elegance of classic ladies:

SETTING...
Unlike the previous collections, a rather simple backdrop was used this time. The backdrop was like a big ball room with two huge doors. Due to the increasing use of color schemes in the collection, the ACROMATIC COLOR SCHEME with less hues was used. Vintage moods were created with the classics of BLACK and WHITE.

COLORS...
Unlike the previous collections, Marc Jacobs used more color schemes for this collection. The primary colors of RED, YELLOW and BLUE, together with the TRIAD color scheme were large-proportionally used. These primary colors were once very popular in the 30's since there were less choices of colors.

A large proportion of BLACK pieces can also be found in the collection too, compared to the dominance of WHITES in the last collection. This shows a 30's scene too because of the lack of color choices in the 30's. Besides, BLACK givse out a classic feeling, which represents the classic 70's too.
