Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight, Tonight
Lyrically, "Tonight, Tonight" hangs together with the rest of the Mellon Collie, which is a concept album, as a symbol for the cycle of life and death. The lyrics of the song have been called a story of urgency and longing and were compared to Robert Herrick's poem "To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time".
